Oopsy

I think this is just an amusing story to share. I do not think that I am a bad driver. I have never had a wreck or ticket. Sometimes I just do things that really make me say, "What was I thinking...I'm an idiot;" like the time I scraped the side of the Mustang down the side of the garage because I was trying to get as close to the wall as possible (guess I did); or the time I burned rubber all the way up the driveway because I didn't realize the tires were spinning but the car wasn't moving so I kept giving it gas; or the time I burned the clutch in Bill's old Explorer pretty badly trying to pull the boat out of the water. Well, Friday I added another stupid driving mistake to the list.

Bill asked to drive the Mountaineer because he needed to pick up a lawn mower from a friend. He said I could take the Crown Vic instead. I really hate driving that car because it's not easy to drive and it's very very long. He had left the Mustang parked at Lowes, so I could have driven that, but I didn't feel like picking it up, so I took the Crown. Everything was great until Friday afternoon when it was time to go home. I got off work later than I had wanted, which put me leaving during rush hour. I was kind of rushing out of the parking garage when I did the unthinkable. I overswung the turn to get out of the garage and - BAM - rammed the corner of the front bumber right into one of those concrete posts at the exit. But let me tell you that I have the best husband ever! I called him in tears. He loves that car and he's not too fond of my stupid driving mistakes so I expected him to be upset. Not at all. In fact, I think he thought it was ammusing. In the end, there is a crack in the bumber and a few scuffs that will probably wash off - nothing major. Now it's just an amusing (albeit embarrassing) story. Thought you might enjoy. I think what was even funnier was my mom's response when I told her. "Sweetie, it's ok. Everyone's done that...HAHAHAHA not really. You're the only one I know." Well, she tried.

Just to make you feel better, I was backing out of a parking space in the chick fil a parking lot and totally cut to quickly and scraped the side of a huge truck-except it was the side of my car, the bumper of his. So he got no damage, and I got a HUGE dent x2 in the side of my car. I was mortified!!
