I am finished!

I just thought I would share the super great news that today I took what will hoefully be my last final ever! That's right folks...I am officially done with classes. Notice I didn't say I'm graduating - that's still probably 2 years off. I am glad to be done with my coursework, though. That means that now I get to devote all of my time and energy to my research, writing, and presenting, which hopefulyl means I can graduate sooner.

It's hard to believe how quickly time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in my first graduate school class - integrative biomedical sciences (IBS), thinking, "On my gosh. I am in over my head. There is no way I am going to pass. I have to drop out. I can't do this. These people are so much smarter than me - I will never survive." Well here I am. Surviving and thriving. Hopefully now I can devote some of that time I have been spending on studying to my husband and family who hardly remember what I look like :)
