New Prayer Request

My mom's co-worker and my former camp counselor from childhood, Tony, and her family are in despirate need of prayer right now. In the past year, their world as they knew it has really begun to fall apart. Her mom was in a bad motorcycle accident and she has since not been able to return to work. Her husband lost his job and his been out of work for some time. Last spring they learned that they were pregnant. 6 weeks into the pregnancy, an ultrasound revealed problems. At the time, no one could predict what the problems would be - all they knew was there would very likely be problems and they would be severe. She and her family were faced with a difficult decision, but decided not to abort and to go through with the pregnancy. In December the baby was born with severe heart and circulatory defects. After several surgeries, the baby spent some time in Children's. Over the weekend he passed away. Please keep this family in your prayers. I really don't know a lot about them, but pray they they turn to God for strength and guidance. I can't even imagine going through something like this, much less going through it without the assurance and confidence provided to me by faith in God.
